On 26-28 October 2018, the "2018 China Building Materials Industry Brand Summit" was successfully held in Qingdao. This year's 2018 Annual Summit was attended by many heavyweight guests and celebrities, and brought a very rich and frequent speech to share with the delegates, which was met with thunderous applause.

Peng Jianguo, Deputy Director of the Economic Research Centre of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council; Xu Heping, Deputy Director of the General Office of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and Deputy Director of the Committee on Economic Development of Small and Medium-sized Cities of the China Urban Economics Association; He Xueyan, a famous macroeconomist, economic policy research expert and policy research expert of the State Council of China; Luo Luo, Secretary General of the All Decoration Industry Branch of the China Building Decoration Association, co-founder of China Decoration New Network and Luo Sheng, Executive Chairman of China Construction Painting Service Alliance; Nan Shiqing, Secretary General of China Metallurgical Mining Enterprise Association's Professional Committee on Integration of Two Chemical Systems; Cui Xiaoyi, Director of China Human Resources Development Research Association and Specially Appointed Professor of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "National SME Galaxy Training Project"; Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Internet + Innovation Economy The summit was attended by experts from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Internet + Innovation Economy Research and Application" subject group; Zong Jipeng, a special lecturer in the presidential class of Peking University and other universities; dozens of media representatives; and representatives from more than 100 outstanding building materials enterprises.

The General Assembly was officially opened at 9:00 a.m. Secretary General Luo Sheng made an opening speech for the General Assembly and expressed his most sincere welcome on behalf of the organizers to the leaders, guests, media friends and representatives of outstanding enterprises in the country who attended the summit.

Luo Sheng also pointed out in his speech that we should strengthen cooperation in the field, promote common economic development is the goal of our joint efforts, deepen comprehensive cooperation, achieve mutual benefit and profit, vigorously promote the "artisan spirit", cultivate and spread the artisan culture. A kind of sentiment, a persistence, a perseverance and a responsibility, craftsmanship is the spirit of refining one's products with an extreme attitude, striving for perfection, and building a fine project.

Following this, Director Peng Jianguo of the Economic Research Centre of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council delivered a speech on the theme of "Relying on Reform and Innovation to Develop a World Brand" for the guests. Director Peng pointed out that brand is a symbol and a logo; brand is a spiritual symbol and a value concept; brand is the core embodiment of excellent quality and an intangible asset. Brand is a passport to enter the market and is a value-added device. Building a brand includes technological innovation, management innovation, model innovation, original innovation, improvement innovation, integrated innovation, innovative concept, innovative thinking and innovative environment. At the end of his speech, Director Peng gave great recognition to the representatives of the enterprises attending the summit, affirming their innovation ability and branding ability, and wished all enterprises to plough deeper on the road of brand development and achieve world brands.

Afterwards, Mr. Xu Heping, Deputy Director of the General Office of the Ministry of Science and Technology and Deputy Director of the Committee on Economic Development of Small and Medium-sized Cities of the China Association of Urban Economics, gave a presentation on "Innovation and Manufacturing Transformation". Director XU divided into three aspects: the general trend of scientific and technological innovation and industrial change, leading development with innovation, and accelerating the transformation of manufacturing industry, and gave a speech on how manufacturing enterprises should reform and innovate in the face of difficulties in the current economic environment.

The conference also invited Dr. He Xueyan, an expert in policy research of the Chinese State Council and a member of the Economic Strategy Committee of the China Development Strategy Research Association, to visit the conference. Dr. He also brought a special report on the theme of "International and Domestic Economic Trends and the Transformation and Upgrading of Building Material Enterprises". The report analyzed the future and recent international and domestic economic situation and development direction for the participants from three aspects: international economic change trend and its impact, domestic economic change trend and its impact, and promoting the transformation and upgrading of building materials enterprises.
